This was one of the most ambitious and challenging projects I've ever done in my undergrad and it was only possible with the help of many amazing people who took the time to share their expertise, advice, and passion for campus birds with me!

 

Thank you to Krista De Groot, Landbird Biologist at the Canadian Wildlife Service for taking the time to answer my questions in detail while sharing her own expertise from conducting research on bird building collisions at UBC (over the last 3+ years!!) and directing me to an extremely comprehensive list of at least 50 sources during my literature review!

 

Thank you also to Penny Martyn, Green Building Manager at UBC Campus and Community Planning for providing her perspective as an architect on my building study methodology and helping me frame my project findings so that they can be more useful for planning staff.
